UPDATE: Located – Missing boy, Banyo

The 16-year-old boy reported missing from Banyo has been located safe and well.

Police would like to thank the media and public for their assistance.

The original media release (below) has been edited to remove identifying particulars.

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a boy missing from Banyo.

The 16-year-old was last seen around 6.30am this morning

Concerns are held for the boy due to his age and because he has a medical condition.

 

He could using the rail network to travel to the Gold Coast.

Anyone who may have seen him or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
